Conceptual coastal scene - pale dunes, pine shadow and long morning light (fictional setting)

COMPORTA, PORTUGAL - A FICTIONAL COASTAL HOUSE

A stay shaped around you.

Thirty-eight keys between the pines and the Atlantic. You do not book a room - you compose a stay.

CONCEPT 003 - NOTHING HERE OPERATES

THE HOUSE

A house before
it is a hotel.

Maison Vela is conceived as a privately owned coastal house rather than a resort - the kind of place that has a kitchen garden before it has a logo. Thirty-eight keys keep it small enough that the team learns how you take your coffee by the second morning, and the building stays quiet enough that you hear the pines instead of the building.

Everything here is unhurried by design: arrival through the courtyard, not a lobby; lunch that starts when the market boat lands; a wellness house you book by the hour, not the treatment.

38 keys 24 Dune Rooms - 10 Atlantic Suites - 4 Pine Residences

Conceptual arrival courtyard - limestone, shade and one bicycle (fictional setting)

THE ESTATE

The house, in place.

A miniature of the grounds - select a place and the estate answers with what it is, how far the walk, and what lives around it.

THE PLACES, AS A LIST

Illustrative miniature of a fictional estate - not a survey.

THE COLLECTIONS

Three ways to wake up.

Conceptual Dune Room - linen bed, garden shutter, morning light (fictional setting)
THE DUNE ROOM - GARDEN OUTLOOK.

01 / 24 keys

Dune Room

Garden outlook

Understated, warm and connected to the garden - a room that opens onto courtyard light and closes onto honest sleep. The wet room is limestone; the coffee arrives when you knock.

The honest pick: smallest, quietest priced, and everything else a short walk away.

32 m2 - king or twin - max 2 - from €390/night

Conceptual Atlantic Suite - private terrace, two chairs, the sea beyond (fictional setting)
THE ATLANTIC SUITE - THE TERRACE.

02 / 10 keys

Atlantic Suite

Private terrace

A more expansive stay with a private terrace built for two chairs and one long view - dunes first, Atlantic behind them. The bath sits in the window light; the third guest is a bed, not a compromise.

The terrace is the argument: pay for it once and every evening changes.

58 m2 - king - max 3 - from €620/night

Conceptual Pine Residence - plunge pool and pergola under pines (fictional setting)
THE PINE RESIDENCE - THE PLUNGE.

03 / 4 keys

Pine Residence

Private plunge pool

Residential privacy with the services of a small independent hotel - your own plunge pool, your own pergola, your own outdoor shower, and staff who appear exactly when needed.

Four only, and priced like it - privacy is the last real luxury on this coast.

94 m2 - king plus daybed - max 5 - from €980/night

SAL - THE TABLE

The menu writes itself
twice a week.

SAL is the house's dining room and its argument: eleven tables and six counter seats, a menu that changes with the market boat, and one long table where the house eats together on Thursdays.

LUNCH
12:30 - 15:00
DINNER
19:30 - 22:30
CLOSED
Wednesday; Tuesday evenings
SEATING
11 tables + 6 counter seats at the pass

The house is small; the team rests on the same rhythm.

DINING AND RITUALS PLANNER

Where you sit is part of the stay. Choose a preference and it travels into your itinerary.

The long table at eight - whoever is in the house eats together on Thursdays. Opt-in, included, no name tags.

THE STILL HOUSE

Wellness as a room,
not a menu.

Three rooms - heat, cold, rest - around an unheated twenty-metre pool. Book it by the hour; the phones stay in a basket by the door.

HEATa lime-plastered steam room and a wood stove for the winter months
COLDthe plunge, four degrees, thirty seconds is plenty
RESTlinen daybeds, tea, no schedule

TREATMENTS - 10:00 - 20:00 BY APPOINTMENT (SAMPLE SLOTS, ILLUSTRATIVE)

  • Massage60 min - €110 - deep, quiet, no small talk unless invited
  • Facial45 min - €90 - limestone clay, cold globes, twenty minutes of silence included
  • Ritual for two90 min for two - €240 - heat, cold, rest, tea; the phones wait outside

The pool court is open eight to dusk - swimmers before breakfast have it to themselves.

Conceptual Still House - lime-plastered steam room and linen daybeds (fictional setting)
THE STILL HOUSE - HEAT, COLD, REST.
Conceptual pool court at first light, unheated water, mist (fictional setting)
THE POOL COURT - FIRST LIGHT.

“The basket by the door
is not a suggestion.”

Quiet rule of the Still House - phones stay in the basket, and the hour you book is the hour you keep.

COMPORTA, BY SEASON

The same house,

Comporta is a real region; this house is not. Seasonal character lines are atmospheric description, not climate data.

THE STAY COMPOSER

Make it yours.

Every figure below traces to a published assumption - nothing is estimated twice, nothing is random.

THE TWO-STAY COMPARISON

Pin the stay as it stands, change something, pin it again. Same arithmetic, different choices.

Pin two stays and the house will compare them - same arithmetic, different choices.

Both scenarios are illustrative - the arithmetic is identical, only the choices differ.

THE PROMISE

The practical,
in plain words.

Arriving

  • Check-in from 15:00; check-out by 12:00.
  • The arrival court receives you - no queue, no desk theatre.
  • Shared transfers run at fixed times; private transfers at yours.
  • Lisbon airport is 1 h 30 away, and the last hour smells like rice fields.

Changing plans

  • Free cancellation to 21 days before arrival.
  • Half the stay to 7 days.
  • Inside 7 days, the first two nights are owed - the team stops holding tables and rooms for ghosts.

The house

  • Children of all ages are guests; under-12s sleep in suites and residences.
  • Small dogs in the residences only, 30 a night.
  • Quiet hours 23:00-08:00. Smoking outside, always.
  • The house is fictional - these are the policies it would publish.

ACCESSIBILITY - ADAPTATION, NOT COMPLIANCE

Two step-free Dune Rooms with roll-in showers; the restaurant and pool court are step-free; the Still House heat room is reached by ramp. The house is small - tell us what you need and it gets adapted, not accommodated.

What this website cannot do: take a reservation, quote a final price, or promise a table. What it can do: show you exactly how the house thinks, to the naira and the minute.

QUESTIONS THE HOUSE ANSWERS ITSELF

Can I book?
No - this is a design study. The dossier is the closest thing to a reservation, and it says so on its face.
Are the prices per night?
Room rates are; rituals and transfers are per stay or per person as labelled on each line.
Is the calendar real?
It is a sample - the states demonstrate what a real calendar would show.
Why is there no phone number?
A fictional house does not answer telephones; a real one would, and its site would say so.
What is the long table?
Thursday, eight o'clock, whoever is in the house - included, opt-in, no name tags.
Who made this?
Logic Forge, as a speculative hospitality study - the third in a series of concept houses.

Maison Vela is a fictional hotel concept created as a speculative digital experience by Logic Forge. No property operates, rates and availability are illustrative, and no reservations exist. Nothing on this site is a booking.

Conceptual terrace at last light, open door, warm interior beyond (fictional setting)

Now - which door
do you wake up behind?

Compose the stay. Read the estimate. Keep the dossier. Arrive in your imagination - the rest is design fiction.
